A little Genealogy

Well, I was doing a little genealogy lately - you know, like I do all the time - and came across some pictures I'd never noticed before of some little known relatives. I guess these were their graduation pictures or something. Attractive looking bunch. That one from 1966 is HOT.

Who does Nicole REALLY look like?

I got this off Jen Davis' blog and even though she didn't believe it's very accurate (and neither do I after seeing Breken's results!) I still thought I would try it out - with a little experiment of my own. I have always thought Nicole looks more like Woodson but apparently that's not completely true! She only looks more like Woodson SOME of the time! Check out when!

Things that I love to see

I am so blessed that I get to look at these faces every day! They make me so happy! After looking through some pictures I had taken recently I decided I would just post a few that made me smile - for various reasons - when I looked at them. Unfortunately, since we don't take pictures of ourselves very often, I didn't have a picture of Woodson - otherwise, he would be on here too! Anyway, here's a few of the things I love to see:

well, whatever this is, it makes me smile

Hawaii

Ok, we went to Kauai in August with our friends Jamie and Jared Richards and it was awesome! But I am way too lazy right now to write a lot about it

so instead here are just a few of the MILLIONS of pictures we took! Here's me bushwacking through some plants to a "secret" waterfall.

Here's Woodson diving off the cliff at the "secret" waterfall.

Hard to see us, but here we are on the other side of Queen's Bath, a little place in the rocks where we went snorkeling.

Here's me blowing a conch shell - pay no attention to that bright red price tag on the front - we were on a BEACH. . . with a shell chandelier hanging from a nearby palm tree.

Don't know if these captions will even be near the right pictures but here's Woodson and me swinging wildly from vines as we hiked down a hill to a "forbidden" waterfall. Well, the signs saying people had died there and the fence made it seem forbidden but the guide book sure made it sound like it was ok to go down!
